We manufacture the sealant layer of a stand up pouch. Before making a plain or printed stand up pouch or making a stand up pouch at end-of-line, a lamination consisting of an outer layer of PP or polyester and a sealant layer must be created.

The sealant layer must:

• seal through a variety of contaminants
• heat seal to the LDPE plastic zipper which can be made from a variety of PE resins
• not have pinholes where the bottom gusset adjoins the panels where 2 thcknesses interface with 4 plys

Our 622 has a proven track record for pouch sealant layer.  Our new METCLR does the job at a lighter gauge.
