INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING

While the industrial uses for single layer films are too numerous to mention, most fall under the following headings:

SHRINK BUNDLING or CASE WRAP
Most commonly used to package cases of cans or beverages, shrink bundling is an effective way to reduce corrugated usage. Multiple – packs or “bulk” packs are also a popular application for industrial shrink film. Our shrink bundling films have the right shrinkage ratio, good “stackability” and are sold by NET WEIGHT with honest yield.

VERTICAL FORM / FILL / SEAL
Product is dropped into a bag made from continuous sheeting. Monolayer films must utilize “impulse” sealing jaws; “resistance”, or constant heat jaws require an outer layer which does not melt as quickly, or “resists” the heat from the jaws. Our films can be used either way; for “resistance” applications our film is the “sealant” web of the laminate. We have several grades with excellent cold temperature stability for individually-quick-frozen ( IQF ) foods.

VERTICAL BAGGERS
Several machines take seamless narrow width tubing and create a bag by placing a seal in the cross direction. The part is dropped into the automatically – made bag.

“L” SEALER
Requires “centerfold” film to create a bag using a seal bar shaped like the letter “L”. Can be shrink or non – shrink.
